How would you describe your personal style, is there a specific formula to your wardrobe essentials?
I always combine a basic piece with a designer item; this is my main formula when it comes to my wardrobe, maybe a Top Shop cardigan with a Vivenne Westwood pair of pants or a Comme des Garcons vest for example. I love Rei Kawakubo's deconstructed silhouettes on me.

I also accessorize a lot it always completes the look. Chunky rings, big chains, beautiful pair of eyeglasses from the 70s.... An Edgy Look!

Who are your icons and why?
My mother is the dearest person to me.

What are your most memorable and influential flashbacks?
My childhood, my parents’ small garden and home, are factors in which helped me in becoming who I am today.
Secondly, the major turnover that took place in my life is the commencement of my career at Starch Boutique in collaboration with Rabin Kayrouz.

As a creative personality how do your surroundings inspire you?
My inspirations are gathered from anything and everything. The historical feel of my workplace, my family and friends, Beirut’s nightlife, daily people interactions are all inspirational doors/outlets.

What do you think is the significance of fashion blogs and social media to your brand?
The use of social media and fashion blogs helps generate a great exposure and brand awareness to a mass audience across the globe. Moreover, social media and fashion blogs facilitates communication and creates interest around the brand.

Online shopping, do you do it?
I enjoy the experience of walking into a boutique store and trying on different items as well as learning and feeling the brand identity of which I am purchasing. Online shopping does not fully offer this nor appeal to me.

Your website immediately transmits an aura of creative individuality and your personal space. What was the concept behind it?
The concept behind my website revolves around an attic and the objects found in that attic. In this case, the attic is my actual room and the objects are the actual items that I have collected and gathered since I was a child from my grandmother’s house, flee markets etc.
